We are pleased to partner with FASTER Colorado, who trains school personnel to provide on-site armed response (when approved by their school district). Colorado Handgun Training will prepare you to be successful for the FASTER 1 class, learning proper gun handling skills and FASTER's range commands and expectations. 

FASTER Prep Class is a 2-3 hour review (depending on student experience) of the range skills and qualification requirements students need to successfully complete the FASTER 1 Class.  Students will receive instruction in fundamental gun handling including rock-solid safety expectations, clearing malfunctions and shooting from concealment from a holster. A POST qualification will be done at the end of class. Students must possess a current Colorado Concealed Carry permit to attend.

Equipment requirements are: Semi-auto handgun and 3 magazines, a rigid (not collapsible) outside the waistband holster, a sturdy belt, eye protection, ELECTRONIC ear protection, and 200-300 rounds of target ammunition. An equipment check will be done by the instructor via email the week before class.
